ABSENT:Vice-Mayor Pam Harlowe; Council Member Roy McGeHee and Roy Payne

This meeting is to review the draft copy of the Town Code that has been recodified by General Code.\ It was decided that the Council would answer the questions first and then proceed with the sections.

The printers for DMV were discussed. It had been approved by the Council at the last meeting that the printers would be purchased from Valley Office Supply. William Thomas made a motion to purchase the Lexmark at the additional cost directly from Lexmark, due to Valley Office Supply inability to obtain the printers at the price quoted. Brooks Besley seconded the motion. Motion passed 3/0 with None voting in the negative.

Dell quote for a new Town computer for the cost of $988.50, William Thomas made a motion to purchase the dell computer for the price of $988.50. Brooks Besley seconded the motion. Motion passed 3/0 with None voting in the negative.

Termination letter for employee the question was asked if it was grievance issue, this was discussed at length. It was decided that this was not a grievance issue.

It was decided that the Council would continue this meeting until May 12th at 6:00 p.m.

Bernice Wilson-Kube made a motion to continue the meeting until May 12, 2008. Brooks Besley seconded the motion. Motion passed 3/0 with None voting in the negative.
