Mineral Town Council Continuation of November 10, 2008 meeting for a presentation of Mr. Kyle Myer. Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development
November 20, 2008
7:00 p.m.

Council persons present: Mayor Keller, Vice Mayor Harlowe, Mr. Payne, Mr. Besley, Dr. Thomas and Ms. Wilson-Kube.
Absent: Mr. McGehee

Mayor Keller called the continued meeting to order at 19:02

Mr. Kyle Myer made a presentation addressing the Town of Mineral's efforts to revitalize itself. Mr. Don Pamenter of Standardsville added to the presentation with the Town of Standardsville's experiences. Ms. Louise Brie with the Community Development Grant Program also made a brief presentation.
All took questions from the audience and council at the conclusion of the presentation.
All those making presentation offered their continued assistance with the Town of Mineral's efforts.
Several Council Persons commented on the presentation and asked for feedback by those in the audience as to what they would like to see happen in the town. A desire to continue with the Mineral Business Association was expressed and it was agreed the effort going forward should include the surrounding communities of Mineral including the Lake Anna community.
Presentation and questions concluded at 20:27.

At 20:35 the Council went into closed session to discuss actual litigation. Motion by Brooks Besley, seconded by William Thomas, passed by 6-0 vote.

At 20:40 Council returned to regular session
